I'm working on a text based game in my spare time. And recently I've been wanting to create natural looking backgrounds, but creating that kind of art really isn't part of skill set.
I introduce to you: NVIDIA Canvas
NVIDIA Canvas is (at the time of writing) available as a free beta. It's AI powered software that creates realistic landscapes. Minutes after scribbling, I ended up with some amazing (fake) landscapes:
Sooo-... how does it work? First of all, you need to be running an NVIDIA RTX GPU. You can download Canvas for free here. Once you installed and launched the software you can get started. This short video demonstrates Canvas pretty well:
It's pretty amazing, but it's definitely not flawless. Sometimes the resulting images have weird perspectives or angles to them, and sometimes it just ends up looking really odd.

That's all, have fun creating.
